At SM Offices, workspaces become integrated destinations with the live-work-play SM Ecosystem

At SM Offices’ E-com Center Block in the Mall of Asia Complex, workdays are no longer defined by deskwork and deadlines—they begin with coffee and carry through to after-work activities.

Across One E-com Center to Five E-com Center, coffee culture sets the tone. Each building houses cafés, kiosks, and stands that keep the workforce energized and connected, turning office blocks into lively hubs of variety and exchange. Walk over to nearby SM Mall of Asia and the choices expand even further.

The lineup spans both household names and rising players: Starbucks Reserve and PICK UP Coffee alongside Zus Coffee, B1T1 Coffee, Better Coffee, and Simply Brewed. There is also Alfamart, Cafe2Go, and 7-Eleven for quick, everyday fixes. From petsa de peligro cups to premium brews, every coffee choice adds to a rhythm that turns the daily grind into a more enjoyable routine.

“The workday feels different when you begin it with your coffee of choice and good company, then knowing that you can close it out with experiences that are just as rewarding,” says Alexis Ortiga, Vice President and Business Unit Head of SM Offices.

Beyond coffee, the E-com Center Block offers a wide range of after-work activities that make it easy for people to unwind. Open mic jams and pop-up bazaars bring Friday evenings to life, while the MOA Baywalk sets the stage for sunset walks, evening jogs, nightcaps and casual dining with friends or colleagues. Together, these options turn downtime into a unique extension of the workday experience.

That mix of amenities translates into steady numbers: by mid-2025, foot traffic across the E-com Centers had surpassed one million, with individual buildings recording peaks of more than 14,000 visitors in a single day.

To keep that momentum, SM Offices curates events and activities that build community and reinforce its live-work-play ecosystem. The result: office spaces that double as lifestyle hubs, where mornings start with coffee and evenings end with ways to dine, unwind or recharge.

“At SM Offices, our goal is to make the workplace an integrated destination—one where people can be productive, stay engaged and live fuller lives both inside and beyond the office,” Ortiga says.
